“The Great Silk Road”

The plot revolves around the return of the great traveler Marco Polo from China home, to Venice. He chooses the overland Great Silk Road, along which different countries are strung like beads on a thread. Each people greets the traveler with their own dance in national costumes – colorful in the Asian style and strict in the European style. This is a richly costumed and vibrant show. Immediately recognizable folk dances probably haven’t changed much since the time of the great geographical discoveries. The finale is at the final destination of Venice, where representatives of all the peoples Marco Polo met turn out to be at the famous carnival.
