Today, at the State Academic Maly Theatre of Russia, a solemn award ceremony was held for the laureates of the VI All‑Russian Public Award “Pride of the Nation – 2025”.
Hero of Kalmykia, Honoured Art Worker of the RSFSR, Honoured Artist of the Kalmyk ASSR, founder and artistic director of the State Kalmyk Dance Theatre “Oiraty”, Pyotr Nadbitov, became a laureate of the 1st degree in the nomination “For Contribution to the Preservation and Development of the Culture of the Peoples of Russia”.
The award was presented to Pyotr Timofeevich by Zhanna Alekseeva, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, and a member of the Presidium of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia.
Among the first to congratulate Peter Nadbitov were: Gerenzala Muchkinova – Acting Deputy Chairman Government of the Republic of Kalmykia – Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kalmykia to the President of the Russian Federation and Evgeny Bembeev – Chairman of the Regional Branch of the NGO “Assembly of the Peoples of Russia” of the Republic of Kalmykia, editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Halmg unn” (“Kalmykskaya Pravda”).
It should be noted that the nomination considered projects and activities aimed at reviving, preserving, and updating the traditions and culture of the peoples of Russia, as well as preserving the unified cultural space of Russia.
